Norm Lehne Garden and Orchards began in 1974, where local Roseburg customers have been picking fresh fruits and vegetables in our u-pick garden, filling up their pantries and freezers. Norm and Cinda Lehne still run this side of the farming operation with help from their son Glen.
This u-pick operation is one, if not the last, farm in the area that offers a wide assortment of u-pick produce.
Our typical u-pick vegetables are beets, green beans, “candystore” corn, cucumbers, eggplant, peppers (hot and sweet), tomatoes (beefsteak and paste), tomatillos, zucchini and summer squash. When in season you can purchase melons and winter squash pre-picked and available at the sales porch.
Our u-pick fruit orchards have several different types of peaches and nectarines, many types of apples to include the renowned and old fashioned “Gravenstein” apple, along with Italian prunes and Bartlett pears. The u-pick season generally runs from Mid-July through Mid-October.
